March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement

For more than 20 years, Houston has hosted the #1 March for Babies in the nation. The U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color. Joining the March of Dimes community helps fund the research, programs, support and advocacy needed to turn this crisis around and improve mom and baby health.

Join on May 5, 2024 for the Houston March for Babies at University of Houston.  Event registration opens at 8:00 am and walk starts at 9:00 am in the parking lot off of Cullen & Holman near the Football Stadium. Enjoy the easy 3 mile walk in and around the campus of University of Houston, then engage in a meaningful way with your family in the March for Babies experiences with face painting, giant Jenga, remembrance wall, music, food trucks and much more. Parking is available at TDECU Stadium and surrounding lots on Elgin St.  Discounted paid parking is available for $8. Click link to reserve your spot.
