Tootsies and Cheeky Vintage provided the colorful and flowing fashions for the annual Children’s Assessment Center Fashion Show. Alicia Kozakiewicz, a young woman who was the victim of Internet luring and was abducted and taken to another state and held captive, spoke to the crowd. Event chairs Tina Davis, Denise Hazen and Yvette Webb were inspired, along with Ursaline Hamilton, Ericka Bagwell, Courtney Barta, Terry Wayne Jones and Susan Plank. The honoree, Sen. Joan Huffman, was presented by director Elaine Stolte. Alicia started a non-profit to bring awareness about crimes against children.
