Over 400 guests, along with event chairs Kim Lucas and Lilly Andress, joined the Houston Symphony League and the Houston Symphony Society in the River Oaks Country Club Ballroom for the annual holiday fundraiser and family celebration. The event, Magical Musical Morning – Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow, was a success, raising over $70,000 to benefit the Houston Symphony’s education and community programming. Guests enjoyed a performance by Houston Symphony violinist Rodica Gonzalez and her 7-year-old son, Matthew, as well as a buffet of quiche, silver-dollar pancakes, pigs in blankets and more. Thanks to symphony donors, 16 children from the Salvation Army Family Residence also were able to enjoy the morning’s festivities.
