SpringSpirit Baseball, a non-profit that’s helped more than 1,000 underserved youth in the North Spring Branch area, hosted its fifth annual Breakfast for Champions on Feb. 3 at River Oaks Country Club. The breakfast, which raised more than $700,000, was themed “Mentoring Youth for the Game of Life.” More than 500 guests attended the event including (pictured, from left) Aimee Snoots, Cara Berkman, Laura Pettitte, guest speaker Andy Pettitte, Melissa Baldwin, and Karen Lange. Lance Berkman was also honorary co-chair along with his wife Cara. Karen and Gus Comiskey were event honorees and Renee and Mark Lange served as breakfast co-chairs.  For more information, see springspiritbaseball.org.
