Condit Elementary families and community members, including (pictured, from left) Julia Tamm, principal Dan Greenberg and Pegi Newhouse, gathered to leave their mark on the school while construction is taking place. Students, parents, teachers, faculty and community had a way to be part of the process at a beam signing. A steel beam was selected and painted white, and everyone signed it. Principal Greenberg saw this done successfully at Grady Middle School, and parents thought it would be a fun idea to bring to Condit.
