While watching Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars accept the Record of the Year for "Uptown Funk" at the 2016 Grammy Awards, I began to think back to my teen years and the KILT top 40 lists that came out each week.

Andy Gibb's class 1978 hit "Shadow Dancing."

In 1978, at the height of the disco popularity, and just as I was about to embark on my senior year at Bellaire High School, Andy Gibb was lighting up the charts with his #1 hit, "Shadow Dancing."
