Veritas Christian Academy Speech Meet Winners

Bellaire’s Veritas Christian Academy recently competed in the ACSI Area Speech Meet against other local private schools. Students competed in one of the following categories: Poetry, Fable, Bible memorization, Patriotic Oration or Dramatic Bible Prose. The young orators brought home three first-place, four second-place, and six third-place medals.

The Veritas medalists include first-place winners: Joseph Johnson (third grade), Tiara Blake (fifth grade), Sarah Du (sixth grade); second-place winners: Matthew Mejia (second grade), Luke Johnson and Helena Arnold (fourth grade), Ellie Arrazolo (fifth grade); third-place winners: Alexis Ninan (first grade), Dane Breitenwischer (second grade), Bliss Oosterwijk and Alex Usen-Uwak (third grade), Kate Mueller (fourth grade) and Maria Adenekan (fifth grade).
