Mickey was there

Bruce Edison was Reva Shepp’s first date the first weekend of school at Northwestern University 50 years ago. They married in Evanston five years later in the Orrington Hotel. Reva recalls the night before their wedding she peeked in to see the ballroom where she would be married and cried when she saw that the Shriners had a circus there. By the next evening it looked entirely different. They just celebrated their wedding anniversary in June with a family Disney cruise, with a giant Mickey Mouse cake, to the eastern Caribbean. On the trip were Brenda and Michael Kapner with Emily and Larson Kapner, who all live in Weston, Conn., and Andrew and Donna Lax-Edison with Shelby Edison.
