The non-profit Pink Door, through its Gayl’s Legacy Fund assistance program, awarded $30,356 for the second quarter – and $70,000 so far this year – to women battling cancer. Pink Door pays for basic living expenses while women with cancer are undergoing treatment. The Gayl’s Legacy Fund allows women in the Houston area to concentrate on their health and recovery during what is a financially stressful time. Pictured are Pink Door supporters Daphne and Dr. Eric Bernicker.
