Leanne Kaufmann and Joe Hermann met at Pueblo Solis, a Mexican restaurant in St. Louis, to have drinks with mutual friends Lauren and Garrett Ratner, who thought they were a perfect match. Sure enough, years later, Joe proposed at Hermann Hill Vineyard, a favorite get-away from St. Louis, where they both live. A colorful sunset appeared as they married May 29 on Hermann Hill’s river bluff, surrounded by vineyards and a view of the Missouri River below. A rehearsal dinner the night before was at Vintage Restaurant at the Stone Hill Winery and a send-off breakfast the day after the wedding was at Hermann Hill Villages and Cottages overlooking the Missouri River. Mother of the bride Rosanne Salomon Kaufmann hosted a dinner on Friday night at the restaurant where the couple first met. Other parents of the couple are Donald Joseph Kaufmann of Baton Rouge and Cecilia and Robert Hermann of Illinois.
