Train, boat and by foot

Nancy and Mel Gross traipsed through Prague for a week as Mel was being honored at a business conference, and they ended in Budapest. They caught up with Mel’s friend from Houston Rotary, Channel 13 news anchor Bob Boudreaux, who showed them “his” Prague and the Swan Theater Klub where he spends a lot of his time with Prague Shakespeare Company. Another highlight was the private boat tour, complete with a picnic basket with spicy sausage. They were able to go in and out of places along the river that are inaccessible by the large tour boats. Another water-ful experience was the 9 p.m. sightseeing boat tour on the river. The lights of the city sparkled, and they got an overview of what castles to see as well as a bit of history thrown in.
