Horn Elementary School students Anjana Ranganathan, Samantha Rosen, Lucy Vestal and Avery McClure (pictured, from left) joined their classmates and completed 30-plus laps around a track in the school’s Boosterthon Fun Run. A fundraiser for the school, the Boosterthon program lasts nine days and students participate in a pep rally, team huddles and finish with the Fun Run. For the kids, the best part is being active and having fun. Students ran or walked, and some even danced, around the track while enjoying music with a DJ and plenty of encouragement from teachers and parents who cheered them around the track.
