Golf for a good cause

The Immunization Partnership will host the event Golf, Glamour and Games of Chance on Nov. 12, 7-11 p.m., at Top Golf (1030 Memorial Brook Blvd). Guests will play golf games, blackjack and a surprise game of fortune. Local artist Taft McWhorter will create a work of art, live, that will be auctioned off. Proceeds will help The Immunization Partnership on its mission of eradicating vaccine-preventable diseases through education and advocacy. Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital will be honored with the John R. Boettiger, Jr. Award for Community Partnership for its support of TIP's programs and mission. Chairs are April and Wells McGee and Tricia and Jim Zucker.
