November is a really busy month for lots of people, so make sure you’re taking necessary breaks from the day-to-day work with music. There are a lot of cool acts performing in Houston this November, so treat yourself!

Nov. 3: Death From Above 1979 @ House of Blues
If you’re into rock, this band (which consists of two men from Canada) is sure to put on a good live show.

Nov. 4: Sia @ Toyota Center
This year’s hottest artist, Sia, is performing in Houston this November! Don’t be the only one who doesn’t see this mysterious performer live….

Nov. 4: Lindsey Stirling @ Revention Music Center
Lindsey is a violinist who performs covers of popular songs as well as her own songs. You don’t have to like classical music to like her music. If you haven’t heard of her, check out her music on YouTube, or go see her in concert!

Nov. 4: Evanescence @ Revention Music Center
Evanescence is a rock/metal band that has sometimes been identified as gothic. If you’re into bands like Linkin Park, you’ll like Evanescence. They were originally known as a Christian band, but have since moved away from that label.

Nov. 8: Adele @ Toyota Center
This may be one of the best concerts of the year in Houston (gasp!). Adele is incredibly talented, and her current tour has been getting rave reviews.

Nov. 10: Doyle Bramhall II @ Scout Bar
Doyle Bramhall II is a great guitarist who has played for many classic rock legends. I’ve seen him in concert and can attest that he is an amazing guitar player! If you go see him live, you may see me there!

Nov. 12: ILuminate @ Miller Outdoor Theatre
Check out this interactive performance that combines dance, music and art. iLuminate is a tech company that puts on shows with different types of music and dance styles with a focus on lights and cool technology. This is sure to be a really popular event, and it’s free!

Nov. 16: Willie Nelson @ Stafford Centre
Willie Nelson is a Texas legend. If you didn’t get the chance to see him perform at Austin City Limits, now’s your chance! You will even have the luxury of sitting down in comfortable chairs instead of fighting for space at ACL.

Nov. 17: Beetle @ The Continental Club
Beetle is a Beatles tribute band. Better yet, this show is free! Go!

Nov. 17: A$AP Ferg @Warehouse Live
Rapper A$AP Ferg is sure to put on a great show at the always-fun venue that is Warehouse Live.

Nov. 20: Mac Miller @ Revention Music Center
Go hear Mac Miller, a rapper with pop influences, sing one of his most famous hits “Donald Trump.” He’s hilarious, talented, and maybe you’ll see Ariana Grande, his new girlfriend!

Nov. 22: Us the Duo @ Toyota Center
Us the Two is a husband and wife duo who sing in beautiful harmony. They originally became famous on the video app Vine, but now they’re playing stadiums!

Nov. 23: Queensryche @ Scout Bar
I’ve seen Queensryche in concert before, and they’re great! A rock band that features classic rock and metal0y sounds, Queensryche puts on a great live show with good musicians. “Jet City Woman” is a must-listen.

Nov. 26: The 1975 @ Revention Music Center
The 1975 is a cool British band with a hipster feel. Their big hits include “The Sound” and “Chocolate.” Taylor Swift is a fan.

Nov. 27: Barbra Streisand @ Toyota Center
Streisand fans are serious, so this concert is sure to be packed. If you haven’t gotten your ticket already, you better hurry up!
