Recently, Memorial Drive Elementary third graders, including Tanner Watkins, William Hoogendam (pictured, in front of donations) and Grant Huthnance, assembled care packages of toys and activities for patients at Texas Children's Hospital. Over 75 care packages, which were sponsored by Spark Energy, HEB and Crave Cupcakes, were made and delivered to the patients. Dr. Charles Fraser, surgeon-in-chief at Texas Children's Hospital, was on hand at the time of the delivery and thankful for the donations.
