A thousand people attended Condit Elementary School’s second annual International Festival, also known as I-Fest. Condit kicked off the event earlier in the month by putting up flags from around the world on campus. Teachers also spent time engaging students in discussions and project on cultural diversity. The festival included a Parade of Nations with 200 students representing 50 countries, a bookmark competition, cultural arts booths and performances. Although the festival is only in its second year, it has quickly become a family-favorite event. I-Fest chairs were Peggy Chang, Elena Clark, Peggy Huang and Samir Mehta.
