Leaving a legacy
Spring is coming, and The Giving Tree at Pin Oak Middle School will soon be sprouting some new leaves. Every year, the Pin Oak Middle School PTO encourages families to donate a leaf or granite stone as a way to celebrate a student’s time at the school. The tree symbolizes the growth each child makes during their memorable middle school years. The tree, which includes engraved plaques and bricks, stretches across the wall at the front of the building. Pictured (from left) are eighth graders Bailye Moon, Brooke Selldin and Maddie Nair.
