Outstanding Hunters Creek teachers
Delia Dunavin, kindergarten teacher at Hunters Creek Elementary School, received the School Bell Award, and Rosie Cantu-Vargas, first-grade teacher, was runner up. The School Bell Award recognizes outstanding SBISD staff members. Nominations are made by PTA parents, students and faculty members. Dunavin represented Hunters Creek Elementary at the PTA Founders’ Day Dinner in February.
