Memorial Hermann’s advocacy group, Heroes in Health, hosted its fourth annual sporting clay shoot, which raised $230,000 to benefit Houston’s first air-ambulance in the sky, Memorial Hermann Life Flight. Whitney and Leigh Martin (pictured, with Memorial Hermann’s Life Flight helicopter) co-chaired the event at the Greater Houston Gun Club. Life Flight is one of the busiest air ambulance services in the country. Sharp shooters and guests at the event included Keith Mosing, Jason Johnson, Richard Morris, Brittany O’Brien, David Runnels, Dr. Richard Ruiz, Josh Urban, Heath Rushing, Mari Treviño and Ben Buchanan. Editor’s note: The Buzz congratulates Buzz About Town columnist Annie Blaylock McQueen on the arrival of her beautiful baby Georgia. Annie took a short break to spend time with Georgia and twin toddlers Cash and Lila and will return to the Buzz About Town column in May.
