McGee brought joy to the O’Donnell household – and the entire neighborhood – for the last 12 years. Sadly, McGee recently passed away. Sandra O’Donnell created a sign to inform their neighbors of their loss, and many reached out with kind words of sympathy. McGee was known as a charming “Houdini” due to her tendencies of slipping through an open door or jumping a fence to explore the neighborhood on her own. Sandra and Pat met a lot of neighbors due to McGee’s antics over the years. After McGee passed, neighbor Zoe Drake, age 13, painted a beautiful portrait of her. Sandra and Pat hadn’t met Zoe or her parents before – she had seen the sign about McGee and, after losing her own dogs two years ago, she knew how heartbreaking the loss of a pet is. The O’Donnells say McGee will be missed and that they’ll always treasure the memories and the portrait. Pictured are Pat and grandson Nate holding the portrait of McGee.
