District champs

Bellaire Little League 12U District Team won the District 16 Championship for the third year in a row. After being knocked into the losers’ bracket by West University National, Bellaire rallied to run the table through District by winning five games in a row over West University American, Westbury, West University National, and Post Oak Little League (the team had to beat them twice). After winning the District 16, the Bellaire Cardinals went on to face and defeat the vaunted Pearland Little League 12U team in the Section Championships, which ended with Bellaire winning the best-of-three series 2-1. After winning Section 3, the Cardinals went to the Texas East State Tournament for their third appearance in three years. They finished as runners-up after losing 7-10 in the final.
