Fierce and fabulous

More than 500 supporters gathered at the Post Oak Hotel Uptown for the 2023 Houston PetSet Fierce & Fabulous Soirée. Sue Smith and Trini Mendenhall (pictured, from left) celebrated with other animal lovers to support more than 90 Houston-area animal welfare organizations. Twins Tena Faust and Tama Lundquist are Houston PetSet co-presidents and, along with event co-chairs Brisa Field and Sandra Smith-Cooper, helped raised funds for Houston’s homeless animals. Great Day Houston’s Deborah Duncan served as emcee during the evening that featured both a silent and live auction. The Leslie L. Alexander Foundation was the evening’s honoree, recognized for their support of the animal welfare community in Houston.
