Assistance League of Houston Hosts 45th Texas Art Show

Assistance League of Houston celebrates Texas art. Juror Dean Sobel, Director at Clyfford Still Museum Denver, Colorado presented 1st place to Caroline Sharpless for Acapulco Sunrise, 2nd place to Tivakon Sirinopawongsakorn for Detritus and 3rd place went to Jennye Stubblefield for Color Field.  Artwork will remain for public viewing and for purchase through Feb. 27, 2015.

Opening reception will take place Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, 6-8:30 p.m., and art will be available for viewing Jan. 14-Feb. 27.

A portion of the proceeds benefit the philanthropic programs of Assistance League of Houston, a volunteer organization committed to serving the educational and emotional needs of disadvantaged children and young adults, as well as families in crisis in the greater Houston area.
