Buffalo Bayou Cistern will light up for the holidays with Cistern Illuminated, a winter light installation. It’s the second year the cistern has hosted Houston artist/engineer Kelly O’Brien; this year will include new audio and visual elements to create a more immersive experience. In addition to tours, the cistern will host Schola Cantorum of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, who will perform on select dates alongside the backdrop of the light installation. Children ages 9+ only.
