Living Water International's "Story of the Thirsty" Water Walk

Living Water International's "Story of the Thirsty" Water Walk will be an interactive event for the whole family, taking place at the same time as Living Water International's 5k Run/Walk. Families can enjoy a fun morning out as they learn what it means to walk with those in need of clean water. This event is FREE but registration is required. Donations are appreciated.

Children and their families will have the opportunity to take a simulated journey through a Liberian jungle, as if they were on a walk to collect water. Along the way, walkers will try to fill up their water container as they encounter various obstacles and learn facts about children living in communities without proper hygiene, sanitation, or clean water. Other family-centered activities will include crafts, kids' bounce houses and climbing wall, food and drinks, vendor tents and an awards ceremony following the World Water Day 5K run/walk.
