Oscar Nominees: Short Film

The MFAH is running all the 2017 Oscar nominated short films in anticipation for the biggest night in Hollywood, The Academy Awards. The museum will be playing a collection of short films representing all three categories: Live-action, animation and documentary.

Come watch a series of engaging stories told in a brief form guaranteed to keep your attention. Not every film is family friendly, though. The animated short film "Pear Cider and Cigarettes" is intended for mature audiences. However, it is the last showing in the animated short film category, so audience members will still have the opportunity to watch the other films in this category if they choose to make an early exit.
