Fountain View Cafe

With an emphasis on home-style cooking, Fountain View Cafe has been serving up classic American breakfasts since 1983 in the same location. While there has been a recent facelift to the interior, what remains the same is the breakfast. The “Café 2” is my favorite – two eggs with four bacon strips or sausage slices, along with hash browns, grits or fresh fruit, and a biscuit, bagel, English muffin or croissant. This is a tasty value at around $8. Waffles, pancakes and build-your-own omelets round out the breakfast options. The friendly and attentive service preserves this as a popular weekend breakfast spot. The kitchen keeps the food coming quickly so the tables turn over quickly.
