This issue reveals the winners of our 14th annual Buzz Photo Contest. As The Buzz has grown, so has our contest. What began with residents dropping off a few hundred photos on CDs has evolved into a contest with more than 1,500 online submissions, judged by a panel of professional photographers. This year’s winners range from age 11 to 78. Some are serious amateurs who got up before dawn and waited patiently for hours, hoping to capture the perfect shot. Others happened to be in the right place at the right time, some with just a cell phone, but also the creative instinct to see the shot and capture it. Photography fans should also check out this month’s Travel Buzz column, where Tracy L.
