No kids on the floor

Aaron and Jessica Glick attended the No Kids on the Floor event benefiting The Furniture Bank. More than 400 guests gathered at River Oaks Country Club and raised a record-breaking $300,000 to provide beds to children in the community. Event chairs and The Furniture Bank board members Francie and Mike Willis led the evening to help families needing the most basic home furniture for their children. Emcee Linda Lorelle welcomed supporters and Johnny Bravo’s talent with the live auction helped secure funds. Guests listened to musical entertainment from nationally recognized Santa Fe pianist Doug Montgomery while bidding in the silent auction and enjoying desserts and coffee. The late Ralph Marek was named Legacy Honoree, and the award was accepted by his son Stan Marek. The inaugural Jodie Hoffer Community Service Award was given to Youval Meicler of Texas Mattress Makers, for his longtime support of The Furniture Bank.
