CMH Birthday Kick-Off Party!

Children's Museum Houston is kicking off our 45th year of play with a bang — and a whole lot of confetti. Join us for our Confetti Drop Party, where we’re not just celebrating a birthday… we’re launching a summer-long party extravaganza! Every weekend brings a new way to play, and this is your all-access pass to the fun. So grab your party hats, bring your best dance moves, and get ready to shower the sky (and yourself) in confetti as we jump into a summer of nonstop celebration!

Confetti Party: Children’s Museum is beginning their 45th year of play so let’s kick off this year-long celebration with a confetti dance party!
When: At 1 pm in Kids' Hall Alcove

Confetti Eggs: Learn how to make your own cascarones—colorful confetti-filled eggs—then join in the fun tradition of cracking the eggs over someone’s head to bring joy and good luck all year round! Limit 15 participants per session, ages 5+. Sign up at Kaleidoscope; sign-ups open one hour before each workshop.
When: At 10:30, 11:30 am, 12:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm in Kaleidoscope

DJ Tyler with Games: Join DJ Tyler for an unforgettable party filled with music, games, and exciting challenges!
When: From 11 am to 3 pm in Kids' Hall Alcove

Carnival Games: Add bounce to the party as you play inflatable carnival games!
When: From 11 am to 3 pm in Playscape

Noisemakers and Hats!: Celebrate in style at by making your own custom noisemakers and festive party hats!
