World Oceans Day at the Downtown Aquarium

On World Oceans Day, people around the globe come together to honor the ocean that connects us all. A healthy ocean is essential to life on Earth. It generates most of the oxygen we breathe, helps feed us, regulates our climate, cleans the water we drink, offers potential medicines, and provides endless inspiration. This year, we're highlighting our conservation partnerships and collaborative efforts to protect our oceans for future generations.

The aquarium will host events throughout the day to educate people on the importance of conservation with animal encounters and keeper chats. Some events that they will be hosting at various exhibits and stages are multiple showings for Animal Encounters, Seahorse Chat, Moon Jelly Exhibit Chat, Story Time, Lionfish Exhibit Chat, Fish Feeding, and Coral Reef Exhibit Chat.
