The Southwest Football League’s sophomore Aggies (pictured) won the 2014 championship with a 40-13 victory over the Tigers. The third and fourth grade Aggies had an 8-1-1 season. Team members represent many schools, including St. Vincent de Paul, West University Elementary, River Oaks Elementary, The Joy School, Herod Elementary, Kolter Elementary, Roberts Elementary and Condit Elementary. The SFL just completed its 11th season and has more than 340 children from Bellaire, West University and River Oaks areas, ranging from first through eighth grades.
