Pin Oak Middle School girls lacrosse teams

The Pin Oak Middle School girls lacrosse teams participated in the 2015 Cy-Fair Burning Flower Lacrosse Classic Tournament. In addition to winning many games at the tournament, the girls also made a sizeable donation to the Burning Flower Foundation. The foundation collects stuffed animals for Houston Police to give children to hold for comfort in times of crisis. These donations are made in memory of Julia Briggs, a lacrosse player who previously collected stuffed animals for HPD. Julia passed away from a rare form of cancer, but her passion lives on through the foundation. The Pin Oak girls donated 78 stuffed animals in her memory. The team members are (top row, from left) coaches Nock Nicodemus, John Howard, Brian Smith and Brian Rose; (middle row, from left) Dannielle Tackett, Kiki Jordan, Reagan Jernigan, Kate Manning, Abby Vollrath, Morgan Draper, Abby Konicki, Asia Delasbour; (bottom row, from left) Karson Ludwick, Lindsay Elwood, Tea Arvizu, Hannah Rose, Peyton Howard, Peyton Richardson, Maya Anderson and Miranda Chodzko. Not pictured: Emily Ashman, Grace Beasley, Miranda Chodzko, Victoria Gray, Tessa Johnson, Kaitlyn Metzger, Carson Nicodemus, Cate Nicodemus, Laney Peters, Katelyn Robbins, Sydney Roquemore, Rebecca Rose, Lilly Smith, Lola Somera, Hannah Sullivan, Ka’Lyn Watson, Sarabel Weiss, Skylar Wilkenfeld, Grace Yee and coach Scott Richardson.
