Hoffmans

Buzz editor Joni Hoffman and Buzz publisher Michael Hoffman with son Matt Hoffman bringing The Buzz energy to Game 6.

It all started with a text late in Game 5 of the World Series from our son Matt, who lives in LA: "Mom, if they win tonight, we could be at Game 6 when the Astros win the World Series."

My husband Michael agreed to go only if the Astros won Game 5. They did.

We bought nosebleed seats on Vivid and got a United flight using miles.

It was all meant to be. Almost.

The Hoffman family was surrounded by a sea of Dodgers fans during Game 6 of the World Series.

Last night did not go as we hoped. And little did I know til this morning that Michael had been up all night, convinced he was poisoned by a Dodger dog.

Now it's personal.

Go 'Stros!

See below for photos of Buzz residents rooting for the Astros from Dodger Stadium.
