Finalists

The annual Mr. Bellaire contest at Bellaire High School, hosted by the school’s PTO, was as lively as ever, despite being postponed a day, as HISD was closed due to the freezing weather. The show went on. Competing for Mr. Bellaire were senior boys Chase Boddeker, Jordan Loev, Ben Riddle, Andrew Berger, Jake Buron, Alex Nguyent, Yang Ding, John Martins, Jakin Cordova, Tirtha Kharel, Andrew Rubio, Jadon Cooper, Jared Jong, Jack Abbott, Chris Levitt, Geoff Zimmerman and Chris Filby. Escorts were senior girls Larissa Charles, Annika Bohmann, Katie Heideman, Abby Eastman, Halani Rodriguez, Sarah Wen, Jenny Streeter, Skylar McAuliffe, Kwon Teimchalyapoom, Sara Tin-U, Kimberly Martinez, Alexandra Ramirez, Dani Strauss, Gillian Neckar, Maya Kanani, Olivia Wehrung and Hayden Wentworth.

The boys competed for highest scores in four categories: Signature Introductions, Swimwear and Group Dance, Talent and Formalwear. The talent portion included comedy skits, magic tricks, musicians and bands.

Jadon Cooper was crowned as Mr. Bellaire with John Martins as 1st runner up and 2nd runner up Jordan Love, along with other finalists Andrew Burger and Jordan Love. Jadon Cooper was also awarded “Best Smile” and Jordan Loev was awarded “Best Eyes” by vote of fellow students.  The contestants awarded the honor of Mr. Congeniality in a two-way tie were Geoff Zimmerman and Chris Levitt; and Miss. Congeniality was presented to Sara Tin-U.
