This year, St. Patrick’s Day falls on Saturday, March 17 and, for many of us, during Spring Break.  If you’re looking to celebrate, there are quite a few spots around town that are hosting fun, Irish-themed events, including:

St. Patrick’s Day @ The Gorgeous Gael

The Gorgeous Gael, an Irish-themed bar in Rice Village, is hosting St. Patrick’s Day all week long. There will be green beer, Irish whiskey, Irish beer, Djs, Irish folk music and more.

Houston’s 59th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Did you know Houston actually has one of the largest St. Patty’s Day parades in the country? Starting at noon at the clock tower at Minute Maid Park (and continuing West), the parade is two hours long and will be in line with the theme “Houston Strong. Irish Proud.”

Saint Patrick's Day Concert and Lepre-Con Pub Crawl

Get lucky this Saint Patrick’s Day weekend with a ton of Irish fun at Market Square Park on Saturday, March 17. Following the Houston St. Patrick’s Parade, head downtown for plenty of green beer at the Lepre-Con Pub Crawl. Market Square Park will have lawn games and live music from Houston’s Celtic rockers Murder the Stout at 6 p.m. Participating bars include: Batanga, Bovine & Barley, Christians Tailgate, Conservatory Beer Garden & Food Hall, Craft Beer Cellar, Dean’s, El Big Bad Hearsay Gastro Pub, La Cantina, Little Dipper and Moonshiners.

St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl @ Midtown/Downtown

From 3-9 p.m., join fellow pub crawlers around Midtown as they visit various Houston hotspots, including The Maple Leaf, Belle Station, SpringBok, Molly’s Pub, Dean’s and more.

St. Patrick’s Day 2018 @ McGonigel’s Mucky Duck

From 11 a.m.-10 p.m., this legendary concert hall will be hosting a general admission show with festival-style food including fish and chips, Beef Guinness, corned beef, shepherd’s pie, and more. There will be Celtic music and dancing, and seating is first-come, first-serve. There will be tents all around the property making this a fun, family-friendly event.

St. Patrick’s Day Festival Downtown @ Lucky’s Pub

Houston's largest St. Patty’s Day Fest will be taking place at both Lucky’s Pub locations in downtown Houston. Starting at 8 a.m., the bars will open with a Lucky Charms breakfast. Admission to the closed-off street areas will be free before noon. There will be green beer and live broadcasts from radio station 94.5 The Buzz. The fest will feature 10 bands and DJs, and food trucks and caterers, including Waffle Bus and The Burger Joint.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade @ Annunciation Catholic Church

If you’re looking to get involved with the parade in a religious way, Annunciation Catholic Church will be celebrating mass at 8 a.m., and then invites churchgoers to hang out and grab breakfast then join the Church’s float for the parade! They are especially looking for all the little ones to dress in wool and participate as sheep! All churchgoers are welcome to walk next to or around the float during the parade.

2nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival @ McIntyre’s

McIntyre’s is hosting live bands, green beer, food trucks, and crawfish this year to celebrate St. Patty’s Day! Crawfish will start being served at noon until it runs out. Check out the Irish-themed drink specials, too.

St. Patrick’s Day at Saint Arnold Brewery

Saint Arnold Brewery is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with an all-day party (free admission!) featuring live music, beer games, special stout beers, commemorative glassware, food trucks and the annual Donegal Beard Growing Competition.

St. Patrick’s Day Blockparty @ Proof Rooftop Bar

If you’re looking for something later in the night on St. Patty’s Day, Proof is hosting an Irish-themed party starting at 10 p.m., featuring green beer, giant beer pong, gogo dancers, and live music. No cover!

St. Patrick’s Day Festival @ Holy Family Parish
