Despite the fact that it was a hectic week in late August – for some, school or extracurricular activities had already started – 21 high school students gathered at Episcopal High School to take this photo and talk about the School Buzz program. Some were familiar faces, having served as School Buzz correspondents previously – some started the program as a freshman and are now seniors – and others were new faces.

This fall marks the fifth year of our popular School Buzz blog, a place for high school students to share what’s happening at their campuses. School Buzz correspondents have created hundreds of blog posts over the years, giving behind-the-scenes glimpses into their campuses, students, teachers, classes and activities. This year, we have more than 50 students representing 23 local schools. Meet all of our 2018-19 correspondents and see their blog posts here.

Editor’s note: If you’re in high school and are passionate about writing or photography, it’s not too late to apply. Check out the blog and apply to become a correspondent. Questions? Email Jordan Magaziner Steinfeld at [email protected].
