The Association of Fundraising Professionals – Greater Houston Chapter awarded The Junior League of Houston with the 2018 National Philanthropy Day Outstanding Service Organization Award. The League previously won this award in 1998 and will be eligible to be nominated again in 10 years. This year’s luncheon was held at the Hilton Americas-Houston. Also honored at the luncheon were active league member Kristen Schlatre, CFRE, who won the M. Anne Murphy Award for Professional Advancement, and sustaining member Phoebe Tudor, who along with her husband, Bobby, won the Maurice Hirsch Award for Philanthropy.
