B-I-N-G-O. You can find tons of games of Bingo happening around town – some for a good cause and some just for fun with family and friends. Here are some we’ve rounded up: 

Children's Park Bingo

If 13 sounds old to you and you like playing outdoors, Wednesday afternoon Bingo at Levy Park might be the perfect fit. “Levy Park’s Children’s Bingo is just one of numerous recurring activities that allow visitors to enjoy our unique urban green space in an unexpected way,” said Stephanie Kiouses, Levy Park Director. “It’s a 30-minute program, ideal for kids age 4 to 12 and is a fun way for children to practice their letters and numbers while earning prizes.” 

Blanket Bingo

Market Square Park’s popular Blanket Bingo series returns to Downtown’s Historic District this summer and fall.

Get ready for an exciting new season of Blanket Bingo, benefiting Market Square Park and Buffalo Bayou Partnership. Bring your blanket, lawn chairs or snag one of the tables at the park for a night of fun, music and great prizes!

Bubbles and Bingo: Second Annual iWrite Lucky for Literacy Bubbles and Bingo Bash

High heels, flowing bottles of champagne, the swanky Post Oak Hotel at Uptown and Jackie O probably aren’t the first things that come to your mind when someone mentions Bingo. But thanks to the second Annual iWrite Lucky for Literacy Bubbles and Bingo Bash, that’s exactly the kind of fun you can look forward to with this event. In addition to supporting children’s literacy and the chance to win fabulous prizes, there is a best dressed-themed table competition. Event proceeds support iWRITE’s publishing programs for kids in the 3rd through 12th grade and the creative writing journal program. “We use our mascot ‘i’ The Guy to relate to kids and help foster a love for writing especially for grade levels who feel the pressure of standardized testing and learning,” says founder Melissa Williams Murphy

Bingo and Brunch

Join the Houston Arboretum for five rounds of bingo and brunch. There will also be donuts, breakfast tacos and some bubbly (or BYOB). There will be five rounds of bingo and nature-themed trivia to win great prizes. The first round will begin at 11:30 am. Bring your bingo daubers!

If you’re a morning person and a fan of children’s reading, then the 1st Annual Breakfast Bingo benefitting Books Between Kids (BBK) is calling your name. As the event tagline states: “Because you join us and play, more kids can read every day!” Kate Robertson, BBK Board President shared, “We are so excited about our inaugural Breakfast Bingo! It will be a fun morning of breakfast bites, bubbly and, of course, BINGO!” Books Between Kids increases access to books for children in economically disadvantaged communities throughout Greater Houston. Books Between Kids allows them to chose high-quality books to take home.

Singo Bingo

Little Woodrow’s Rice Village, Wednesdays, 8 p.m.
If you would rather listen to music than numbers and know how to name that tune, dance on over to check out Singo Bingo. On a recent Tuesday night at Christian’s Tailgate and Bar West U, DJ Kirby explained, “Players listen to songs and if they hear a song that is listed on their card they mark it off. It’s free, you can win gift cards and the best part is you get to hear lots of songs you haven’t heard in a long time.” The rounds of Bingo include categories like Girl Power, All Time Favorite Party Songs, Current Top 100’s, Rock and Roll’s greatest hits, Gone too Soon and Royalty including artists such as Elvis, Michael Jackson and James Brown.

Lotería (Mexican Bingo)

Thursday evenings, 7 p.m. 
Loteria uses images on a deck of cards instead of numbers on balls. Instead of daubers, players mark their cards with dried pinto beans. If you behave you just might get some Mexican candy!

Tombola (Italian Bingo) 
Houston Italian Festival  
Oct. 10-13, 2019 
Bingo! (Tombola!) was born in Italy in the 1500s. If you cover all your numbers for a win, you must be loud and call out “Tombola!” in Italian or you are disqualified. Yes, some nice Italians will be standing by to help you. Bouna Fortuna!

Football Bingo

Monkey Bingo

The Downtown Club at the Met

Bingo Halls
Through Texas Charity Advocates, a statewide non-profit that promotes charitable Bingo, proceeds from bingo games go to non-profits licensed to operate the game. Check out the website to find a Bingo Hall near you. Kids 7 years of age and older are welcome to play under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Czech Lodge Bingo
SPJST Lodge #88 Heights
Thursdays, Doors open at 5:15, Bingo goes 7pm-10 p.m.
The S.P.J.S.T Lodge – which stands for Slovanska Podporujici Jednota Statu, Czech for Slavonic Benevolent Order of the State of Texas – offers a popular Bingo night. The organization has been in Houston since 1911 and is dedicated to preserving Czech culture and helping the community. They have also been great at preserving Bingo. Come early to get a seat (yes, all 700 seats really do fill up). The seasoned partygoers know to bring tablecloths, centerpieces, good-luck charms and other accessories to decorate and mark their group’s spot. Guests can bring their own wine and liquor but no other beverages as the lodge sells beer, soft drinks and water. You can also buy food, but you are welcome to bring in your own snacks, pizza, birthday cake, etc.

Triple Crown Bingo Hall

This Bingo Hall hosts fun themed events, such as a May the Fourth party on May 4, 5:30 p.m. with Star Wars themed Bingo and giveaways. On May 5, there’s a Cinco de Mayo Bingo Fiesta. On June 1, look forward to Blacklight Bingo and more.

The Post Bingo Hall

The Post Bingo Hall is located in Spring Branch and is open Mon.-Sat starting at 10 a.m. and Sundays starting at 4 p.m. Upcoming events include a Mother’s Day Extravaganza on May 12, 4 p.m.

Family Bingo Center

Family Bingo Center is a family-friendly bingo hall open Tues.-Sat. from  5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sun. from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. And yes, you can rent your own VIP party room during the Bingo games so you and your party guests can dob your sheets in privacy, if you’d like!

Texas Star Bingo Hall

A portion of proceeds from this bingo hall benefit Mission K9 Rescue, which provide assistances and support for working dogs worldwide. The hall is open Thursday through Saturday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
