Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association’s (SBMSA) Express team

The Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association’s (SBMSA) Express team won the Pony Division championship. The boys beat the Toros, 4-2, in a close game to win it all. After finishing the regular season with a 9-2 record, the Express went undefeated in the playoffs, leading up to the final game. The boys are seventh and eighth graders at Memorial Middle School, Spring Forest Middle School, Cornerstone Academy and West Briar Middle School. Congratulations to the Express (pictured, from left): coach Mike Elliott, Willie Elliott, Zach Roden, Nick Tamez, Camden Evans, Jacob Smith, Ryan Burgess-Jimenez, Steele Rodriguez, William Marks, Jacob Waltz, Alex Thomas, Jonathan Williams, and coach Steve Tamez.
