2018 Friends and Families "Think Big" Luncheon
The Children’s Museum of Houston and chairs Kelly Sklar and Cynthia Walker will welcome the inspirational Dr. Jennifer Arnold to the 2018 Friends and Families Luncheon presented by Occidental Petroleum from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on March 7, 2018 at the River Oaks Country Club. Dr. Arnold’s immeasurable philosophy for perseverance has allowed her to tackle some of life’s biggest challenges. At the luncheon, she will deliver on this powerful message to encourage parents and their children to move past their fears and insecurities and learn how to “think BIG.”
Dr. Arnold, M.D., M.Sc., FAAP, is best known for starring in TLC’s “The Little Couple,” which chronicles her professional life as a doctor with Spondyloepiphyseal Dysplasia (a random genetic mutation which led to her shortened growth and orthopedic complications) and as a wife and mother to her husband Bill and children Will and Zoey respectively.
Parents, educators, friends and families are invited to come together for awareness and philanthropy at this enlightening event. The luncheon will help support the Museum's early childhood and parenting programs which focus on building parenting skills, providing information on child development and engaging families in the joy of learning together.
