6th annual Seeds of Faith Celebration

Leaping Butterfly Ministry is hosting the 6th annual Seeds of Faith Celebration on Feb. 21, 2019 at The Briar Club to raise support and awareness for girls and women with Turner syndrome.

Leaping Butterfly Ministry is hosting the 6th annual Seeds of Faith Celebration on Feb. 21, 2019 at The Briar Club to raise support and awareness for girls and women with Turner syndrome. Singer/songwriter, Ginny Owens, will be the keynote speaker and performing during the evening’s festivities.  

Turner syndrome, a chromosomal condition caused by the absence of all or part of the second X sex chromosome, affects more than 1 out of every 2,000 females. There are approximately 80,000 females in the United States with Turner syndrome. Each female has her own unique medical issues and characteristics which may include short stature, heart defects, hearing loss, lack of ovarian development, liver and kidney malformations.  

The celebration’s festivities will include dinner, silent and live auctions as well as a special performance and message of inspiration and hope from singer/songwriter Ginny Owens. Having been blind since age 3, Owens unique perspective on life and faith has a way of helping others see with more clarity. 

Funds from the 6th Annual Celebration will go towards the Chrysalis Retreat, Leaping Butterfly Ministry’s inaugural Christian retreat weekend scheduled for April 5-7, 2019 at Trinity Pines Conference Center.
