Ali Miller's Anti-Anxiety Cookbook Tour

Anti-Anxiety Cookbook Tour

Join The Health Museum on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at 2 p.m. for a discussion on stress-free diets that will help mellow your mood and give you tips on overall well-being and nutrition with food-as-medicine guru Ali Miller.

According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, approximately 40 million Americans struggle with anxiety disorders - that's nearly 20% of the adult population. Though anxiety disorders are the result of a complex set of factors including genetics, brain chemistry, personality, and life events, more and more research is proving the mind/gut connection and showing that significant changes in lifestyle, specifically in nutrition, can manage the symptoms of anxiety and help improve the quality of life.

Ali Miller, author of The Anti-Anxiety Diet, is a registered dietician, certified diabetes educator, certified weight management specialist, and therapeutic lifestyle healthcare practitioner. Miller has dedicated her career to revolutionizing food-as-medicine in treatment and prevention of disease. She has a passion for creating public awareness regarding the significant role diet plays in our overall health with her philosophy of Food-As-Medicine. She is the author of Naturally Nourished: Food-as-Medicine for Optimal Health Cookbook and the Reset, Restore, Renew: Real Food Detox program.

Following the discussion will be a book signing where books will be available for purchase.
