Books & Brunch

The Assistance League of Houston is pleased to reinstate a popular event benefiting its philanthropic programs.  Books ‘n Brunch will be held at the Houston Racquet Club located at Voss and Memorial. The event will provide an opportunity for local authors to make a presentation showcasing their literary works and to offer them for sale.  The authors are Katherine Center, Kathryn Casey and Chris Shepherd.  A portion of the proceeds for each book purchased will go directly to Assistance League.  In addition to the book sale, we will have both a live and silent auction. It is the only major fundraising event the Assistance League is currently planning for the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

Proceeds will benefit the philanthropic programs of Assistance League® of Houston:  Operation School Bell®, Scholarship Program, Celebration of Giving and Head Start Readers.
