CanCare's 24th Annual National Cancer Survivors Day Luncheon

CanCare celebrates 28 years of providing hope to individuals facing cancer at their 24th Annual National Cancer Survivors Day Luncheon on Friday, May 11. This captivating event honors and celebrates cancer survivors and those who battled courageously. The keynote address will be given by Suzette Caldwell, Associate Pastor for Windsor Village United Methodist Church and Chairman of the Board of Directors for The Prayer Institute. Pastor Caldwell will speak about her breast cancer diagnosis and her aggressive battle to defeat it. Her story of how she overcame this devastating disease is nothing short of inspirational.

Leonard Donaldson, a non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer survivor and owner of Leonard’s American Fusion Cuisine, and Michael Wiesenthal, an acute myeloid leukemia cancer survivor and owner of M. Wiesenthal Men’s Collection, will co-chair the event. 

The National Cancer Survivors Day Luncheon is one of CanCare’s largest fundraisers of the year. Proceeds from the event allow the organization to continue to provide free emotional support to cancer patients and their families.
