The Health Museum's Cheers to Your Health: STEAMPunk Fundraiser

On Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, The John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science invites Houstonians to celebrate and toast to its educational programming in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) at its largest fundraiser of the year, Cheers to Your Health: STEAMPunk. The Texas Medical Center member institution is Houston’s most interactive science learning center and the only Smithsonian Affiliate in the Houston Museum District, and this year celebrates its 21st anniversary as the most visited museum of its kind in the nation.

Cheers to Your Health: STEAMPunk will feature an evening of libations and savory culinary treats from local eateries, restaurants and farmer’s markets. The event also will explore the technology of wines, tonics and potions.

Proceeds raised during the event will support all STEAM programming available for families and youth at The Health Museum.
