Immanuel and Helen Olshan TEXAS MUSIC FESTIVAL Week 3

A lively program follows for Immanuel and Helen Olshan TEXAS MUSIC FESTIVAL (TMF) Week 3, “Dancing the Night Away,” highlighted by Bernstein: Symphonic Dances from West Side Story in honor of Bernstein’s 100th birthday. Capping off the TMF Orchestra Series’ commanding four-week concert series will be “Shostakovich: First and Last” with Grammy Award-winning Maestro Hans Graf leading the all-Shostakovich program that includes guest soloist Nikolay Didenko (bass) in Suite on Verses of Michelangelo Buonarotti, Op. 145a. Cynthia Woods Mitchell Young Artist Competition winner, Andres Vela, will be a guest soloist on the 22nd and 23rd.
