Laura Lee Blanton Community Spirit Award Dinner

Named in memory of Laura Lee Blanton who gave tirelessly and had a selfless dedication to her family, community and friends, this award has been presented to a philanthropic couple or individual in our community since 1999. The revenue from the event goes to the operations of Houston Hospice, a nonprofit 501(c)3. Vivie and Chris O'Sullivan serve as Spirit Award Dinner chairmen. This year’s honoree, Nina Wickman, made possible the groundbreaking of the Margaret Cullen Marshall Patient Care Center and the transformation of the Holcombe House property at the Texas Medical Center. This event has a raffle with fabulous prizes. A cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. The attire is business or cocktail.
