Menninger Annual Signature Luncheon featuring Patrick Kennedy

The goal of the Menninger’s Annual Signature Luncheon is to bring crucial conversations about mental health to the forefront during National Mental Health Awareness Month. Proceeds from the luncheon help to advance mental health training, research and treatment at Menninger, which ranks among the top ten psychiatric hospitals in the country according to U.S. News & World Report.

Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the work of Menninger, a premier mental health care system that is known for its expert team-based diagnostic assessments and treatment. Menninger’s mission is to create a healthier world by excelling in the art and science of mental health care. Patrick Kennedy has become an outspoken mental health advocate and will discuss his views on mental health equity at this event. Patrick believes that illnesses of the brain should be treated no differently than illnesses of the body when it comes to our health care system, insurance coverage, public policy, etc. Kennedy hopes to advance evidence-based practices, policies, and programming for the treatment of mental health and addiction—and shine a spotlight on the people who are out there making a difference.
