To kick off the 10-day Shop With Heart Card, presented by the Heart Guild of Houston, American Heart Association (AHA) is hosting an after-hours shopping soiree at Kuhl-Linscomb. From 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 shoppers and supporters can join AHA for 20 percent off purchases made with the Shop With Heart Card. Guests can sip on drinks and snack on tasty bites from Bollo Woodfired Pizza, Ousie’s Table and Ooh La La Sweets. Attendees will also have the chance to enter to win fabulous door prizes from participating retailers. The store will be filled with hits spun by a local DJ as party-goers peruse the retailer’s large selection of merchandise including everything from skincare to home décor, fine china, stationary, books and kitchenware all while supporting an important cause. 

Shop With Heart Card runs April 26-May 5 and cards are available for purchase online here and at participating retailers beginning April 26 for a minimum donation of $50 with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association. Shoppers receive 20 percent off regularly priced merchandise and services at participating retailers and special offerings at participating restaurants. The Heart Guild of Houston uses these funds to further research, education and community programs in Houston.
